Job Advisory Board – Help us identify and locate potential employers for our prospects.  Get to know our participants one-on-one and help us place them in a good job.

1.     Short-term project:  Identify companies and positions that are a good fit for our participants and help us ensure our curriculum is teaching the necessary skills for them to be successful.

2.     Ongoing Need:  Introductions to companies that will hire our participants.  Help us identify and make these connections.

Mentors – Work one-on-one with our participants to help them prepare resumes, cover letters, mock interviews, LinkedIn profiles and prepare for interviews.

1.     Short-term project:  Help us get resumes revised and LinkedIn profiles launched.

2.     Ongoing Need: Mentor our participants on letters, mock interviews and preparing for interviews.

3.     Occasional Need:  Help with speed networking sessions once a quarter

Product Development – If you have an eye for design, join our product development committee and help us create and launch new products.

1.     Short-term project:  Use existing products and help us refresh arrangements and gift baskets.

2.     Ongoing Need:  Identify industry trends and new product development for future products.

Sales and Marketing – We need assistance identifying and connecting with new markets and retailers for our products.   We also want to design point-of-purchase materials that our retailers can download from the website to help drive sales.

1.     Short-term project:  Devise strategy and materials for initial launch of new organic line.

2.     Ongoing Need:  Identifying and introductions to retailers to carry our line and promote our products.

IT Support – We are a small organization, but could use help with IT support and updating our website.  If you have some time to help us analyze our current system, we would appreciate it!

1.     Short-term project – Analyze our current system and help us determine future needs and infrastructure.

2.     Ongoing Need:  IT support on an occasional basis would help us remain more efficient and less reliant on outside vendors.  These savings would also be reinvested in the program, allowing us to serve more women.
